General Information
10 Parishes Support
CORONAVIRUS / COVID-19
-------------------------------------------
Wivey Link continues to run transport to essential medical and dental appointments. We have introduced comprehensive hygiene measures to ensure the safety of our passengers and drivers which means we have to limit the number of passengers in each vehicle and we need to reserve our capacity for those most in need. We are not providing transport for shopping trips or hair appointments. For further information on Wivey Link phone 01984 624666.
We are also now recruiting for more volunteer Wivey Link drivers so if you would like further information about this opportunity to help the local community please contact us on 01984 624666. We have almost 600 registered passengers across the 10 Parishes and beyond and we transport them to medical and other health appointments, shopping trips, lunch clubs, social visits (subject to government guidance of course)

"A Community Charity dedicated to Harnessing the Power of Volunteers"
Wiveliscombe Area Partnership - WAP - is a company limited by guarantee with charitable status and is managed by a Board of Directors consisting of community minded residents plus representatives from the Town and District Councils.
WAP operates from the Community Office in the heart of the Wiveliscombe but serves the larger rural area of some 8,000 inhabitants known as The 10 Parishes (see map). WAP has a strong track record in developing and delivering projects that address rural issues. The company has been built around the principles of innovation, co-operation and collaboration. Its development has been supported by the District, County and Parish and Town Councils and it is in a unique position to understand and drive forward rural strategies.
In addition, WAP organises and runs the biennial 10 Parishes Festival plus the annual Wiveliscombe Street Market and Carnival, normally held in September. Unfortunately, this year, this event has been cancelled.
Our Mission.........
